In this piece, I wanted to show the different layers of mechanization and industry that goes into the little pieces of our life; Metallic sheen encompasses much bigger, explosive natural events. Then, behind the fury of the volcano, looms the guinea pig in all of its domesticity. Trump's hair spews out of the volcano; there is a tension now between chaos and order, between nature and our attempt to control it. At times, it feels absurd, and there old consistency is no longer valid. Scales our to of control, and things don't make sense. There is a pervading sense of confusion and odium.
